Stephanie helps organizations move beyond AI experimentation into operational reality, engineering artificial intelligence into the day-to-day workflows, decisions, and systems that actually run the business.
“The organizations that lead tomorrow aren’t just exploring AI. They’re engineering it into how they operate.”
Read Stephanie’s stories & insights on the Insights pageStephanie Vega has spent her career sitting at the intersection of three things most organizations struggle to line up at once: technology, strategy, and the people who have to actually use it. Her work focuses on a simple but unglamorous truth: most AI initiatives stall not because the models fail, but because the organization around them was never engineered to absorb the change.
Stephanie’s path is deliberately interdisciplinary. She earned a BA in English from Wells College, where she learned how to write clearly about complicated ideas, then went on to complete her MBA at the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, where she focused on the business mechanics of technology adoption. She is currently a PhD candidate in Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech, where her research spans the intersection of AI, people, and business goals.
Most AI initiatives don’t fail in the model. They fail in the handoff between the model and the people expected to trust it, use it, and build on it.
Over the last six-plus years, Stephanie has led digital transformation and implementation engagements across a wide range of data-rich, analytically mature organizations, partnering with teams at everything from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. She is PMP certified and holds the SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager 6.0 credential, giving her a working fluency in both classical program discipline and agile product delivery. On client engagements, she is typically the person translating between the data-science team, the executive sponsors, and the operating teams who will live with whatever gets built.
At Peacock Hill Consulting and IMA Worldwide, Stephanie’s work centers on operationalizing AI: designing the adoption pathways, governance, role changes, and day-to-day workflows that turn a promising pilot into a system the business actually relies on. Her approach pairs the Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM) with modern product and data practices, so transformation programs land with measurable change in how decisions get made, not just a new tool in the stack.
